Founded in 2024 by John Leonetti & Lexx Klinge, Playful Rage Productions brings national and global electronic talent to the heart of Iowa. Our main goal is to provide a safe place for anyone and everyone to come and enjoy electronic dance music, while providing an unforgettable experience that leaves attendees wanting to come back for more.
We offer state of the art production, including one of the best sound systems in the Midwest - VOID ACOUSTICS by HY-TEKK AUDIO. We also work with many local businesses and artists to provide an amazing visual experience whether it be a room filled with lasers by ENDANDGERED LASERS or hiring live painters to fill a canvas while sub woofers shake the room.
We strive to grow and get better with each and every event, so we not only appreciate feedback - but we welcome and encourage it. We throw these events for our community, and every voice matters.
Our Founders…
Lexx Klinge joined the electronic scene in Des Moines at the young age of 15 years old & immediately fell in love. Over the last decade, he has been a core team member to some of Iowa’s biggest electronic events such as 515 Alive & Kosmic Kingdom and has run over 100 events in the great state of Iowa. John Leonetti has been a staple in the Des Moines scene for almost 20 years & has been involved with hundreds of events ranging all over the state of Iowa. He is the owner of Rage Life LLC and has contributed not only to the growth of the scene, but also to maintaining it by organizing countless of underground events throughout the years that have been cherished by all attendees.
